ISO 22301

ISO/IEC 22301:2012 is a business continuity management standard that specifies management best practices and comprehensive controls. The basis of this certification is the development and implementation of rigorous business continuity controls, which includes the development and implementation of a BCMS (Business Continuity Management System).

This widely-recognized international standard specifies that SHL does the following:

• We systematically evaluate our business continuity and disaster recovery risks.
• We design and implement a comprehensive suite of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• We have an overarching management process to ensure that the business continuity controls meet our needs on an ongoing basis.
• Regular test business continuity and disaster recovery plans, review the results and continually improve the process.

SHL has certification for compliance with ISO/IEC 22301:2012 which is audited by independent third-party auditors. Our compliance with these internationally-recognized standards and code of practice is evidence of our commitment to information business continuity at every level of our organization and is in accordance with industry-leading best practices.
