Selecting the Right Partner to Provide Reliable, Valid Results

Having previously evaluated talent through subjective measures such as annual performance reports, line-manager feedback, and closed-ended questions around behaviors, Ms. Phi Thi My Hanh realized they needed a more reliable, accurate and fair method to assess their talent. “We wanted to keep our 3 pillars of measurement—Commitment, Competency and Contribution, but needed a way to move to an objective, data-driven approach to measure them” she says.

Those individuals received an ‘Unlocking Potential Report’ which provided personalized insights to help them to manage their own learning with a clear pathway to leadership.

From the aggregated insights and reports available, Ms. Phi Thi My Hanh and her team could also see which developmental areas needed most attention across the organization and assign employees to suitable programs that would help them develop.

Over 80% of employees found the insights and reports provided by SHL highly relevant for realizing future aspirations.
