HR leaders are managing investments in people and technology, cultivating an inclusive culture and positive employee experience, and transforming the HR function to be more automated and digital—all while putting a future-looking lens on the organization’s talent needs based on the strategy.
Workforce planning and anticipating future talent needs are at the center of corporate strategy and a key priority for HR leaders globally. However, predicting future capability needs, accessing enough talent, and filling future gaps through buy or build strategies is no easy feat. This is especially true in this period of disruption–the new work environment, scarce talent, high turnover, and a shift in the employee-employer dynamic– where the business context is ever-changing and the economic conditions are tightening.
Despite the unprecedented amount of transformation and disruption, projecting who has the potential to advance to more senior levels, who can backfill specific critical roles, and where development efforts need to be focused, is becoming increasingly important for companies to achieve their growth goals. HR leaders need an objective view of the capabilities and potential of their workforce.
Scientifically developed talent assessments continue to be the most fair and reliable way to evaluate job-related behaviors, skills, and competencies, to determine the potential and readiness of individuals to take on new challenges and/or perform in more senior roles.
Taking this a step further, our research shows that by applying talent data and matching a leader’s potential, and experience to the context of a role, leaders perform 22% better on average and the accuracy of succession planning decisions increases by 4x.
Scientifically developed talent assessments continue to be the most fair and reliable way to evaluate job-related behaviors, skills, and competencies.
We are powering the strategy and mobility of top organizations, globally. Using our data-driven solutions, objective talent insights, and real-time analytics in this way maximizes the accuracy of predictions, supports DEI and fairness in decision-making, and allows for scalability and ease of use at every step of the employee journey.
Most recently, we have been working with the Global Talent Programs Manager at H.B. Fuller – a leading global adhesives provider – to build a robust pipeline of talent to fill their most critical roles of the future. Leveraging the power of people analytics, they are using insights to inform their critical talent decisions from selection to succession, which is helping them to drive progress against their ambitious growth goals today, build agility and effectiveness into their leadership pipeline, and develop a workforce ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow. We will help H.B. Fuller bring this story to life in a live session at HR Tech on Oct. 11, 3:15 - 3:45 PM ET in the Case Study Theater.
