Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment

SHL South Africa values and supports the objectives outlined in the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act (Act 53 of 2003). As a multinational company with ownership based in the United Kingdom, we endeavour to achieve the highest contributor level we can. We do this through a number of initiatives which include, but are not limited to, ownership through an educational trust (this includes sponsorship of industrial psychology students), employment equity, skills development through the development of our own staff as well as the sponsorship of learners, enterprise, and supplier development, and socio-economic development through donations and providing professional services at no charge for designated groups on various projects.
