The Mechanical Engineering: Machine and Tool Design test is a broad based assessment designed to assess the candidate's familiarity with and understanding of machine and tool design fundamentals. All questions fall into the categories of General, Statics, Fluids, Electrical, Materials, or Tooling. The basic category questions are primarily aimed at a junior engineer with 1-2 years of experience, engaged in the complete design process which is supervised by a more experienced engineer or engineering manager.
